AHTCA Cup

The AHTCA Cup was run via a multi round format for the first time in 2009. There were 4 rounds to decide the Cup, as expected there were a modest number of cars that competed in a majority of events in order to accrue points. Overall the cup was considered a success, raising the profile of the 2010 event. Congratulations to the winners;

  • Nc Outright - Daryl Hansen, Ford Mustang 351, NcA
  • Nb Outright - Greg Toefer, Ford Mustang 289, NbA
  • NbF - Mal Rutschack, Austin Cooper S

2010

The 2010 AHTCA Cup will be run over 5 rounds. There is a slight change to the format, where all events are being run at Historic events with the exception of the Muscle Car Masters at Eastern Creek.

There are no series fees other than standard event entry fees and entries details will be with each meeting promoter. There is no pressure to compete at every round however we ask you to complete a form to register your intent.

To register to compete in the AHTCA Cup please download the AHTCA Cup Entry form and post to the address provided on the bottom of the form.

The AHTCA Cup will be Class based, points will be scored based on the competitors finishing position in class. The Cup winner will have scored the most Class point during the 4 events.

There will also be an outright trophy awarded after the final round, but the focus will be on winning the Class based AHTCA Cup.

There will also be an exciting new award, known as the 'State of Origin Cup'. This will be calculated on a combination of Class and Outright points plus the number of competitors from each state crossing the line to successfully complete races.
